Cleveland Museum of Art presents MIX: Masquerade (and we can’t wait!)
All videos from TEDxCLE 2012: The Maker Class on Friday, April 20th at The Cleveland Museum of Art have been posted online! You can watch all of the videos here. Thanks again to everyone that supported the event, including speakers, sponsors and volunteers, we could not have done this without you. Besides Atari, Commodore 64 and Nintendo, I’ve never really liked video games. But when I first moved to Cleveland, I worked at Marcus Thomas on the Nestle account and had the opportunity to work with Major League Gaming on a sponsorship partnership. After a few events, I fell in love with the culture of gaming. I also fell in love with the technology. Microsoft Kinect and Sony Move were still new, but I could see the potential for natural user interfaces (NUI) or gestural user interfaces. Thanks to Microsoft, hackers everywhere are dissecting their Kinects to leverage the technology in new environments.
